302 wanted persons in Bicol nabbed in 13-day police ops

LEGAZPI CITY: The Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO-5) has arrested 302 wanted persons during 13 days of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) across the region.

 

Lt. Col. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, PRO-5 spokesperson, said Monday the apprehended individuals during the Nov. 25 to Dec. 8, 2022 operations include 63 most wanted persons in the regional, city and municipal levels and 239 other wanted persons.

 

“A total of 295 operations were launched in the different parts of the region. This approach speeds up the efforts of the unit to locate offenders and serve them warrants of arrest corresponding to their committed violations,” Calubaquib said in a report sent to the local media.

 

Based on the report, the province of Camarines Sur province has the most number of arrested criminals with 71; followed by Sorsogon with 57; Albay — 55; Masbate — 52; Camarines Norte — 43; Catanduanes — 16; and Naga City — 8.
