MANILA-- Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over extreme Northern Luzon's Batanes province and Calayan Islands, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 24-hour forecast released Saturday afternoon (March 25).
PAGASA also forecast partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and rest of the country.
The northeast monsoon or 'amihan' is affecting extreme Northern Luzon while the easterlies are affecting the country's eastern section, noted PAGASA.
PAGASA expects moderate to occasionally strong winds from the northeast to east in Northern Luzon where coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.
"Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas," PAGASA added.
