Lakers guard Jeremy Lin visits Manny Pacquiao

MANILA, Philippines — The long list of stars from different fields continue to line up to see Filipino boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao.

A day after MMA women’s champion Ronda Rousey dropped by, it was Jeremy Lin of the Los Angeles Lakers’ turn to visit the Pacquiao camp.

Both Pacquiao and Lin posted a photo of their encounter on theirsocial mediaaccounts with interesting captions.

Pacquiao thanked Lin for the support and and for being a good example. Lin, for his part, posted a simple caption but his hashtagsspoke of Asian invasion and also throwing a humor about his hairstyle and him feeling tall when he stood beside the Filipino boxing icon.

Lin, a Taiwanese-American, has felt connected to Pacquiao not only because they both represent Asia in their respective field but also with their faith.

The Lakers playmaker will be rooting for his fellow Asian on May 2 (May 3 in Manila) against undefeated American champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
