NCRPO joins Filipinos in honoring sacrifices of uniformed personnel for freedom

MANILA-- As it secures Metro Manila against all criminal elements during the country's 119th Independence Day, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) on Monday announced that it is one with the nation in honoring the sacrifices made by Filipino men and women in uniform in the name of peace and freedom.

"The National Capital Region Police Police joins the nation in commemorating our 119th Independence day. We honor our hardworking men and women in uniform who continue to dedicate their lives in ensuring that our region is safe for children to be able to walk its streets without fear, for parents to be able to focus on their work knowing there homes are safe, for families to sleep at night knowing that they will wake up to a brand new day of peace," NCRPO chief Director Oscar Albayalde said.

And while Filipinos celebrate the country's Independence Day, the police official said the NCRPO is renewing its commitment to the country and its people that it shall continue to serve and protect the peace and freedom that has been won by the many sacrifices of our heroes past and present.

"Lastly, in prayers we join the families of our soldiers and policemen who perished in the Marawi siege. We mourn but we shall celebrate their lives and honor the victories that they have won for peace in our country and the freedom of its people. Mabuhay po tayong lahat," Albayalde added.
