PAGASA: Northeast monsoon still affects Luzon, eastern Visayas

Northeast monsoon will still affect Luzon and eastern Visayas, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over Caraga, Davao and Soccksargen likely until Thursday.

In its 24-hour advisory, PAGASA added that cloudy skies with light rains is expected over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Bicol, eastern Visayas, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque and Oriental Mindoro.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over Metro Manila, rest of Luzon and Visayas.

The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will blow from northeast over Luzon and Visayas. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, PAGASA said light to moderate winds coming from northeast will prevail with slight to moderate seas.
