Bucks tie NBA Finals vs. Suns

Khris Middleton came up huge within the final 2:07 of the game to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 109-103 win over the Phoenix Suns in Game 4 of the National Basketball Association (NBA) Finals at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Thursday (Philippine Time).

Middleton took over down the stretch for Milwaukee, going on an 8-0 run by himself to put his team up, 105-99, with 20.8 seconds left.

His teammates also contributed, especially on a defensive end.

Giannis Antetokounmpo thwarted an alley-oop play by blocking Deandre Ayton’s dunk attempt.

Jrue Holiday took advantage of Chris Paul slipping by stealing the ball from him and feeding Middleton for what would become the dagger layup.

Devin Booker tried to keep Phoenix in the game with a quick layup that cut the lead down to four, but Middleton got the two points back off free throws in the next play.

Booker missed a quick triple from almost the half-court line that sealed the fate of the game, and Holiday iced the Bucks’ win with two free throws.

Middleton finished with 40 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals for Milwaukee, which tied the best-of-seven series at two games apiece.

Antetokounmpo added 26 points, 14 rebounds, eight assists, three steals, and two blocks.

Booker put up 42 points on 17-of-28 shooting, one rebound, two assists, and one block for Phoenix, but was held to just four points in the fourth quarter.

The NBA Finals return to Phoenix for Game 5 on Sunday (Philippine Time) with Game 6 back in Milwaukee on Wednesday (Philippine Time).
