Graham’s 61-ft buzzer beater gives Pelicans 3-pt win

The New Orleans Pelicans beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 113-110 thanks to Devonte’ Graham’s 61-foot buzzer beater late Wednesday.

With 1.4 seconds remaining, Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hit a deep 3-pointer to tie the game 110-110, but Devonte’ Graham’s 3-quarter-court buzzer-beater gave the Pelicans victory.

It was the longest game-winning buzzer-beater in a quarter century.

Brandon Ingram scored 34 points, and Jonas Valanciunas finished with 19 points for the Pelicans.

For the Thunder, Gilgeous-Alexander racked up 33 points, while Kenrich Williams and Josh Giddey each added 17 points.

Mike Muscala also dropped 16 points for the losing side.

The Pelicans have nine wins in 30 games, while the Thunder fell to an 8-19 win-loss record.

Rookie Reaves hits 3-pointer as Lakers beat Mavericks

Los Angeles Lakers rookie Austin Reaves nailed a 3-pointer with 0.9 seconds left in overtime, giving his team a 107-104 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

LeBron James racked up 24 points and Russel Westbrook finished with 23 as Anthony Davis recorded his sixth double-double of the season with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Jalen Brunson scored 25 points and Kristaps Porzingis finished with 23 points and 12 rebounds for the Mavericks.

The Mavericks, suffering their 14th defeat of the season, were on the court without All-Star guard Luka Doncic due to ankle injury.

With the win, the Lakers improved to a 16-13 win-loss record.
