Malasakit party-list forms alliance with Duterte’s PDDS

Eusebio Avanceña, chairman and third nominee of Malasakit Movement Party-list, forged an alliance with President Rodrigo Duterte’s Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan (PDDS).

Avanceña, cousin of Duterte’s common-law wife, Honeylet, inked an agreement with PDDS national president Greco Belgica on Saturday.

“Sa alyansang ito ng Malasakit Movement at PDDS ni Pangulong Duterte, mas marami ang mapagmamalasakitan. Pareho ang adhikain namin ni Pangulong Duterte, iyan ay mapagmalasakitan ang mas maraming Pilipino (With the alliance of Malasakit Movement and PDDS of President Duterte, we can be of help to more Filipinos. We have the same objectives and that is to be of service to a great number of our countrymen),” he said in a news release on Sunday.

He said they are thankful to Duterte for the alliance as he promised that their group will always be behind the endeavors of Duterte in uplifting the lives of Filipinos.

Under the agreement, Malasakit Movement Party-list and PDDS formed the alliance based on their shared principles, objectives, and vision for the country and for the purpose of pursuing continuity of good governance and principled leadership personified by Duterte.

“The Malasakit Movement and PDDS of President Duterte will help, aid, assist each other towards achieving victory in the forthcoming 2022 National and Local Elections,” the accord read.

PDDS is Duterte’s party that has certified the nomination and acceptance of Duterte and Greco Belgica as their senatorial candidates for the May 2022 elections.

Celine Pialago, former Metropolitan Manila Development Authority spokesperson, is Malasakit Movement’s first nominee.

“We are very thankful to President Duterte and to PDDS for forging a strong, unbreakable alliance with the Malasakit Movement. We will work hand in hand to achieve all our goals, especially to continue President Duterte’s good governance,” Pialago said.
