A total of 636,725 individuals in the Caraga Region are now fully vaccinated against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) as vaccinations remained in full swing in the different provinces in the area.
The Department of Health (DOH) in Region 13 (Caraga), in a report on Monday, said a total of 1,390,917 doses of the vaccines have already been administered in the region as of November 21.
The agency added that 32.67 percent of the target population in the region is already covered with the continuing vaccination activities.
The percentage of vaccination coverage is 1.81 percent higher than the 30.86-percent rate coverage registered in the area on November 14.
The agency also reported on Monday the additional 41 new Covid-19 recoveries that pushed the total number to 46,554.
The number of recoveries is 95.4 percent of the 48,797 total infections registered in the region since last year.
The remaining active cases in Caraga also dropped further to 379 or 0.77 percent of the total number of registered cases.
A total of five new deaths were also recorded by DOH-13 that brought the total number of Covid-19 related deaths in the region to 1,865.
