Some parts in Aurora will experience an 11-hour power interruption on Wednesday, according to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).
Ernest Vidal, corporate said the 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. scheduled brownout will affect areas being serviced by the Aurora Electric Cooperative, Inc. (AURELCO).
Vidal said the affected areas are the towns of Dingalan, San Luis, Maria Aurora, Baler and Dipaculao.
He said the scheduled power interruption is due to the replacement of old wood poles and cross arms along Bongabon-Baler 69kVline segment.
He said the normal operations will immediately resume after work completion.
NGCP’s customers and the general public are advised to take the necessary preparations and precautions for this scheduled interruption, he said. (PNA)
