2 ‘pushers’ yield P200-K shabu in Koronadal drug bust

Police arrested two target-listed drug personalities and seized over PHP200,000 worth of suspected shabu in an operation in Koronadal City on Tuesday night.

Lt. Col. Joefel Siason, Koronadal City police chief, said Wednesday suspects Samrudin Kampang, 25; and Cezar Sacramento Jr., 24, were nabbed in an entrapment around 10:35 p.m. in Barangay Zone 4.

Siason said an undercover operative managed to buy a sachet of suspected shabu worth PHP500 from the two suspects.

A subsequent search on the suspects yielded seven sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 33 grams with an estimated street value of PHP224,000, police said.

They were under close surveillance by our unit for several weeks and we finally got them last night, Siason told reporters, adding Kampang and Sacramento were included on the target list of the city police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Police said the two, who were detained at the Koronadal City police station lockup, will be charged with violation of Sections 5 and 11 or selling and possession of dangerous drugs, under Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
