Two foreign sex offenders are awaiting deportation for being undesirable aliens, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) reported on Thursday. Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado said American Joseph John Graham, 76, and British national Ryan Ashley, 50, were arrested in separate operations conducted by operatives of the BI's fugitive search unit in Pampanga and Taguig on Wednesday. 'They will be deported immediately and will be placed in our blacklist, banning them from re-entering the Philippines,' he said in a statement. Graham was collared at the Clark International Airport in Angeles City. He was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by the 19th judicial court of Indian River County, Florida where he was charged with 55 counts of child pornography. The investigation allegedly showed that multiple child sex abuse materials, including nude pictures of Filipino children, some as young as 3 years old, were found on the mobile phone of Graham who frequently travels to the Philippines. He faces a deportation charge with the BI but will remain under the physical custody of the National Bureau of Investigation as further charges are eyed against him. On the other hand, Ashley was arrested by personnel of the BI SM Aura office in Taguig while attempting to extend his tourist visa. He is a registered sex offender who was convicted in the United Kingdom in 1994 and 2002 for multiple sexual offenses, including indecent assault on minors.
