MANILA-- Cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms will be experienced over Caraga, Northern Mindanao and Eastern Visayas, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 24-hour forecast released Friday afternoon (June 30).
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and rest of the country, PAGASA also said.
The inter-tropical convergence zone is affecting Mindanao, noted PAGASA.
PAGASA also reported locating a low-pressure area outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility at 1,095 km east of the Visayas as of 4 p.m. Friday.
"Light to moderate winds coming from the southwest to south will prevail over Luzon and coming from the southwest to northwest over rest of the country," PAGASA said.
Coastal waters nationwide would be slight to moderate, PAGASA added.
