MANILA -- Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila and rest of the country, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 24-hour forecast released Monday afternoon (April 5).
Ridge of a high-pressure area is extending across Luzon.
Easterlies are affecting eastern sections of the Visayas and of Mindanao.
According to PAGASA, light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over Luzon.
Winds from the east to northeast are likely over the Visayas and Mindanao.
"Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate," PAGASA added.
