MANILA — Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Davao regions, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 24-hour forecast released Friday afternoon.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected over rest of the Visayas and of Mindanao, PAGASA also said.
PAGASA also forecast partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and rest Luzon.
So far, the easterlies are affecting the country’s eastern sections while the northeast monsoon or ‘amihan’ is affecting Northern Luzon.
PAGASA said moderate to strong winds from the northeast would prevail over Northern Luzon where coastal waters were moderate to rough, PAGASA said.
“Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas,” PAGASA added. (PNA)
