Quezon city: The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct concrete reblocking works along the outer lane of Mindanao Avenue Underpass northbound starting Friday night. In a social media post, the DPWH – Quezon City 1st District Engineering Office said the works will begin at 10 pm until Sept. 8 at 5 am.
According to Philippines News Agency, the outer lane will be partially closed to traffic to pave way for the repairs which will rectify dilapidated pavement road sections of the Mindanao Avenue Underpass. The department noted repairs on other portions of both bounds will continue every weekend.
The northbound lanes are expected to be finished by Sept. 22. On the other hand, the southbound lane is targeted to be completed between Oct. 18 and 20. Motorists are advised of traffic slowdowns during the repair works and to use the service road and adjacent lanes as alternate routes.
