MANILA - Six persons in the local police's most wanted list in Region 3 have fallen in the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group's (PNP-CIDG) manhunt operations, the CIDG announced Friday.
CIDG operatives served the warrants of arrest in separate operations on Thursday in Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan and Tarlacnabbing Jerry Boy Valle, Randy Tiburcio, Maria Ivonne Jimenez, Anthony Pitallano, Antonio Samaniego, and Emmanuel Lorenzo.
Valle, who is wanted for murder, was arrested by the CIDG Bataan in Brgy. Alas-asin, Mariveles, Bataan. Tiburcio, who ranks as the No. 9 Most Wanted Person in Gapan City, Nueva Ecija, was nabbed for rape charge in Brgy. Mahipon, Gapan City, Nueva Ecija.
Meanwhile, Bulacan operatives collared Jimenez, alias "Ivonne", who is wanted for statutory rape in Brgy. Panginay, Balagtas, Bulacan.
Wanted for violation of RA 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act), Pitallano was apprehended by tracker team of the CIDG- Bulacan in Kapitol Compound, Brgy. Mojon, Malolos City, Bulacan.
In Brgy. Palagay, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, operatives arrested Antonio Samaniego for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Law). Lorenzo, alias "Ed Lorenzo" who is facing rape charges, was nabbed in Malacampa, Camiling, Tarlac.
They are now under the custody of the CIDG arresting units prior to their respective turn-over to the courts that have jurisdiction over them. (PNA)
