MANILA(PNA) -- Most parts of the country will experience rainy weather due to an Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), state weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric and Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Sunday.
In an advisory, PAGASA said the ITCZ is affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao, bringing cloudy skies with light to moderate rains in these areas.
Meanwhile, cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms will prevail over CALABARZON,MIMAROPA,Bicol Region, Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao and CARAGA.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA added.
Light to moderate winds coming from the southeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas while winds coming from the south to southeast will blow over Mindanao.
PAGASA also said coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
