MANILA-- Light to moderate rains may still prevail over Mindanao and Visayas until Thursday, according to state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said Mindanao and Eastern Visayas may experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms.
The rest of Visayas may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA also cited that the northeast monsoon is affecting Luzon. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains may prevail over the island.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from northeast will prevail over Luzon, Visayas and eastern Mindanao.
Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from northeast with slight to moderate seas.
