MANILA � A low pressure area (LPA) will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some parts of the country Friday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In its 24-hour forecast, Pagasa said the LPA was last observed at 250 kilometers southwest of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. The easterlies, meanwhile, is affecting the eastern section of the country.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with slight chance of rains.
Light to moderate winds coming from the southeast to east will prevail and the coastal waters will be slight to moderate. Coastal waters in Palawan and northern Luzon will be moderate to rough. (Lily O. Ramos/PNA)
