MANILA A magnitude 3.6 tectonic quake struck Batangas at 12:54 p.m. Thursday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The quake's epicenter was 25 kilometers southwest of Calatagan town and had a depth of 126 kilometers.
Instrumental intensity 1 was recorded in Calatagan and Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro.
Phivolcs, meanwhile, said it is not expecting any damages and aftershocks from the earthquake. (PNA)
