MANILA Police authorities arrested a man clad in army regalia along Commonwealth Ave. on Monday.

Magtira faces charges for unlawful wearing of uniform of the Philippine Army publicly, when he was accosted along Commonwealth Ave. corner Zuzuarregui St., Barangay Old Balara by policemen conducting security preparations in the area for the State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Rodrigo Duterte.
He was also carrying two hand bags with markings "CPP-NPA", prompting the operatives to confront the suspect, who failed to present proof of being connected to the Philippine Army.
