MELAKA, NEGERI SEMBILAN RECOVER FROM FLOODS, FEWER EVACUEES IN SELANGOR

KUALA LUMPUR, Floods in Melaka and Negeri Sembilan have fully receded as of 8 pm today with all evacuees allowed to return to their respective homes. According to the latest report from the National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA), the number of flood evacuees in Selangor has decreased slightly to 483 people compared to 597 people at 4 pm. Of the figure, 227 victims from 62 families are accommodated at a temporary relocation centre (PPS) in Klang, while 256 victims from 55 families are housed in another PPS in Petaling Jaya.
