Parts of Rizal, Quezon City waterless Jan. 16-18

MANILA: The Manila Water Company (Manila Water) on Thursday announced a water interruption in several parts of Angono town and Antipolo City in Rizal province and Quezon City due to its service improvement activities from Jan. 16 to 18.

 

It its advisory, Manila Water said the affected areas are parts of Barangay Parang (Lower and Upper Sakura) in Angono from 10 p.m. of Jan. 16 to 4 a.m. of Jan. 17, specifically along Mahabang Parang near Upper Sakura for valve maintenance.

 

Also affected are parts of Barangay Matandang Balara in Quezon City from 10 p.m. of Jan. 17 to 4 a.m. of Jan. 18, particularly in South Zuzuarregui Street corner Capitol Drive for line maintenance.

 

Likewise, from 10 p.m. of Jan. 17 to 6 a.m. of Jan. 18, also affected are parts of Barangays Mambugan and Sta. Cruz in Antipolo City, along Sumulong Highway.

 

All residents and commercial establishments from Cloud 9 Sports and Leisure Club to Buhat 3 Lower and Upper, Metroview Ridge Estates, Valley of Sympathy Memorial Park, Lopez Inc., College of San Benildo, Meralco Manpower Academy, San Pedro Calungsod Parish, Our Lady of Fatima University, Fatima University Medical Center, Eugenio Lopez Center, specifically along Sumulong Highway, Barangay Mambugan will also be affected due to line maintenance.

 

The water company advised residents in the affected areas to store enough water for their needs during the service improvement activities.

 

Once water is restored, affected customers are reminded to flush their toilets and open faucets for a few minutes until the water becomes clear, Manila Water said.
