Anti-narcotics agents recovered PHP6.8 million worth of shabu from a suspected drug dealer during a sting operation here, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEA-BARMM) said Monday.
PDEA-BARMM Director Rogelito Daculla said the drug dealer, identified only as a certain “Arson”, fled when he noticed he was dealing with non-uniformed anti-drug agents during Sunday’s operation in Barangay Rosary Heights 3.
“Pursuit operations are underway to get the suspect,” Daculla said in a statement.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were filed against the suspect.
