MANILA(PNA) -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Civil Service Commission (CSC) on Wedensday forged an agreement to further promote the Honor Awards Program (HAP) that recognizes government officials and employees who have displayed outstanding work performance and ethical behavior.
CSC Chairperson Alicia dela Rosa-Bala and PNP Chief Dir. Gen. Ronald M Dela Rosa forged an agreement to reinforce an outstanding agreement between the two agencies.
The accord is a renewal of an existing agreement between the CSC and PNP formalized in 2014 to strengthen the merit and reward system in support to its mandate in administering of the annual HAP nationwide.
The annual award has the following categories: Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award, Outstanding Public Officials and Employees or the Dangal ng Bayan Award, and Civil Service Commission Pagasa Award.
The MOA ponders the willingness and commitment of the PNP to assist the CSC in providing technical support and police assistance to HAP committee in background investigation and validation of the work accomplishments of the nominees.
The PNP is ever-ready to help the CSC through the conduct of trainings and police assistance. As your partner, CSC, the PNP is always here for you to serve and protect, and to be with you in the service of the Filipino nation, Dela Rosa said.
