MANILA: Parts of the cities of Quezon, Caloocan and Valenzuela will go waterless as the Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) on Saturday announced a water interruption due to its network maintenance from Jan. 29 to Feb. 6.
In its advisory, Maynilad said the maintenance activities are part of its continuous effort to improve water services in the West Zone.
In Quezon City, the affected areas from 10 p.m. of Jan. 29 to 6 a.m. of Jan. 30 are in Barangay Sangandaan, specifically in Benefits corner Claims and in Engineering corner Premium.
In Caloocan City, the affected areas from 11 p.m. of Jan. 30 to 4 a.m. of Jan. 31 are Barangays 93, 97, 98, 101 to 105, 107, 108 and 121, particularly in 8th Street corner 7th Avenue.
Likewise, Barangays 22, 24, 27, 28 and 31 will be affected from 11 p.m. of Jan. 31 to 4 a.m. of Feb. 1, specifically in Marcela corner Perpetua.
On the other hand, Barangays 92, 94 to 100 will be affected from 10 p.m. of Jan. 31 to 4 a.m. of Feb. 1, particularly in A. Cruz Street corner Macabagdal Street.
Meantime, Barangays 21 to 31 will be affected from 11 p.m. of Feb. 1 to 4 a.m. of Feb. 2, specifically in Dimasalang corner A. Mabini (North).
From 11 p.m. of Feb. 3 to 4 a.m. of Feb. 4, Barangays 86, 88, 90 and 91 will be affected, particularly in B. Serrano corner EDSA.
Also, Barangays 152 and 153 will be affected from 11 p.m. of Feb. 3 to 4 a.m. of Feb. 4, specifically in Intan corner Milagrosa.
In Valenzuela City, the affected areas from 9 p.m. of Jan. 31 to 6 a.m. of Feb. 1 are Barangays Gen. T. De Leon, Mapulang Lupa and Ugong, particularly in S. Feliciano Street across CF Natividad Street.
Likewise, the affected areas in Quezon City from 10 p.m. of Jan. 31 to 6 a.m. of Feb. 1 are in Barangay Dona Imelda, particularly in Baloy corner Araneta and in Landargun corner Araneta.
Likewise, Barangays Salvacion and San Isidro, specifically in Don Manuel corner Baco.
From 10 p.m. of Feb. 1 to 6 a.m. of Feb. 2, the affected areas are Barangay San Bartolome, particularly in Goodwill-1 and Barangay Sauyo, particularly in Sampaguita corner Sauyo.
From 10 p.m. of Feb. 2 to 6 a.m. of Feb. 3, the affected areas are Barangays Damayan and Del Monte, specifically in Natividad Left and Right corner Kundiman.
Likewise, Barangays Bungad and Veterans Village, particularly in Saleng corner Payna; Barangay San Antonio, specifically in Sto. Nino corner Roosevelt and in San Jose Corner Capillan.
From 10 p.m. of Feb. 3 to 6 a.m. of Feb. 4, the affected areas are Barangays Gulod and Sta. Monica, particularly in Aguardiente.
Likewise, Barangay Bahay Toro, specifically in Congressional corner Ayshire.
From 10 p.m. of Feb. 4 to 6 a,m, of Feb. 5, the affected areas are Barangays Nagkaisang Nayon and Nova Proper, specifically in Gen. Luis corner Villa Nova; and Barangay Bahay Toro, particularly in Congressional corner Spring Drive (West).
Likewise, Barangay Bahay Toro, specifically in Road 20 corner Assistant.
From 10 p.m. of Feb. 5 to 6 a.m. of Feb. 6, the affected areas are Barangay Bahay Toro, specifically in Road 20 (West); and Barangay Apolonio Samson, particularly in Kaingin corner Toctocan.
The affected customers were advised to store enough water for the duration of the water interruption.
There will be water tankers on standby and ready to deliver water to affected areas when necessary
