MANILA, Philippines Cases of reckless imprudence on Tuesday were filed against the daughter of former Philippine Basketball Association star Nelson Asaytono.
Kim Arielle Asaytono, 22, now faces charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide, multiple physical injuries and damage to properties.
The younger Asaytono was the driver of an AUV that ran over pedestrians in Sta. Mesa, Manila on Tuesday night, killing a man and injuring 12 others.

Four of the 12 injured were in critical condition.
The vehicle also rammed a barbershop, a horse race betting station and parked tricycles.
The Manila Police District (MPD) said in a radio report that some victims opted for out-of-court settlement with the suspect’s family.
Asaytono is currently detained at the MPD compound. g- Camille Diola
