MANILA Cloudy skies with scattered rains will prevail over the country from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday afternoon, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its 4 p.m. weather bulletin, which is effective for 24 hours, PAGASA said the Davao region and SOCCSKARGEN will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
It also cautioned of possible flashfloods or landslides caused by light to moderate with occasional heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the other parts of the country will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to local thunderstorms.
Northern Luzon, meanwhile, will experience moderate to occasionally rough coastal waters caused by moderate to occasionally strong winds.
The remaining parts of the country will have slight to moderate coastal waters due to light to moderate winds.
