Tail-end of cold front, monsoon to bring light rains Tuesday

MANILA The tail-end of a cold front and the northeast monsoon will bring scattered, light rain showers in some parts of the country Tuesday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 4 a. m. weather bulletin that Bicol Region, Quezon and Samar provinces will experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region and Aurora province, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Mindanao, Palawan, and the rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 22-30 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 20-26 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 12-23 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 26-31 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 26-34 degrees Celsius. (PNA)
