MANILA, Philippines – A teacher from Aklan has claimed the jackpot in the 6/55 Grand Lotto’s Aug. 1 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.
The51-year-old winner picked the six-digit winningcombination 08-13-16-21-26-29, which had a total jackpot prize of P63.5 million, according to PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II.
The winner, whois married and has three children, combined the birth dates of the family members, which he has been betting on for the last 10 years.
Rojas said the winner plans to invest in business and save for his children’sfuture.
The 6/55 Grand Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
