Ticket sold in Laguna wins P64-M Super Lotto jackpot

MANILA: A bettor from Laguna province bagged the PHP64 million jackpot during Thursday night's Super Lotto 6/49 draw. In a statement on Friday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the winner, who bought the ticket from an outlet in Lumban town, got the winning combination of 19-10-08-24-20-13 with a total jackpot prize of PHP64,105,266.60. The bettor can claim the prize at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City by presenting the winning ticket and two identification cards. As provided in the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20 percent tax. Prizes not claimed within a year shall be forfeited. Meanwhile, 117 others won PHP50,000 each for guessing five out of the six winning digits; 4,247 bettors will get PHP1,200 each for four correct digits; and 51,335 will settle for PHP50 each for three correct digits. The Super Lotto 6/49 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles ur ged the public to support the agency's gaming products to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
