Two Winners from Batangas and Bulacan to Share PHP5.9 Million Lotto Jackpot

Manila: Two bettors from Batangas and Bulacan will share the PHP5.9 million jackpot from Saturday night's Lotto 6/42 draw.

According to Philippines News Agency, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Sunday that the winning combination 20-08-10-01-04-24 had a total jackpot prize of PHP5,940,000. The winning tickets were purchased in Brgy. San Jose Patag, Sta. Maria, Bulacan and Brgy. Pobalcion, San Juan, Batangas.

Winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prize, as mandated by Republic Act 1169, which governs PCSO lotteries. All jackpot winnings are required to be claimed at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City. Prizes exceeding PHP10,000 will incur a 20 percent tax under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law.

In addition to the jackpot winners, 120 other bettors received PHP24,000 each for matching five of the six winning numbers. Furthermore, 3,439 bettors won PHP800 each for four correct digits, and 37,412 bettors took home PHP20 each for three correct digits. The 6/42 Lotto is held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles encouraged the public to continue supporting the agency's gaming products, which generate funds for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities. Through its contributions, the PCSO aids individuals in need of medical assistance and supports various government institutions.
