Quezon City fire razes P500-K property

MANILA, Philippines – Around half a million pesos worth of property was destroyed after a fire razed a four-storey building in Quezon City Thursday dawn.

QC Fire Marshall Jesus Fernandez said no one was hurt during the blaze at the building on E. Rodriguez Senior Avenue, Barangay Don Manuel.

Initial report showed that the fire started around 3:40 a.m. inside the fourth floor of the building, owned by Alfredo Lim. The floor was reportedly rented by the Jesus Is Lord Foundation.

Firefighters managed to put out the flames around 4:20 a.m.

Arson investigators suspected an electrical short circuit caused the fire, which razed P500,000 worth of property.
