SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, Antique – The Family Development Session (FDS) of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) will finally start airing over DYKA, a local radio station in this province on June 23.
Pantawid Provincial Link Jeffrey Gabucay, in an interview Monday, said the program to be streamed live via Facebook will be interactive as they would be entertaining questions from 4Ps beneficiaries.
The beneficiaries can ask questions by calling the phone number that will be flashed on the FB page.
“On June 23, we will be discussing the importance of savings and on June 24 the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccination campaign,” he said.
He added that the knowledge of saving a portion of their cash grant or their extra income from their livelihood could assure them they would have something to use during an emergency.
Meanwhile, he said that 4Ps households with members aged 18 years old and above are encouraged to avail of the ongoing vaccination campaign in their respective municipalities.
“Since the Covid-19 vaccination is now available for the seniors under the A2 category then we urge the 4Ps households that have elderlies to assist them to avail of the vaccination,” he said.
As of April 30, 2021, Antique has 28,753 households that are enrolled with the 4Ps, of which 58,160 household members are 18 years old and above.
“We encourage the 4Ps beneficiaries to listen every 11 a.m. to 12 o’clock noontime starting June 23,” he said.
