Mayor Noel Rosal on Wednesday said he is currently in isolation after testing positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
In his announcement posted on social media, Rosal said his routinary antigen test yielded a positive result.
“Those persons who had close contact with me, please observe yourself,” he said, even as he noted that his wife, former mayor Geraldine Rosal, tested negative.
On Wednesday, Legazpi City recorded 70 new cases of coronavirus.
“Take extra caution please, stay home unless working or essential, calling all barangay health response teams to mobilize their members,” Rosal added in his social media post.
