Zambo Peninsula cops nab 3 fugitives

Government operatives arrested in separate law enforcement operations three of the most wanted persons in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, a police official said Tuesday.

Maj. Shellamie Chang, Police Regional Office – Zamboanga Peninsula (PRO-9) information officer, identified the fugitives as Marjun Cruz Ramayrat, 33; Graciano Nobesteras Dela Cruz, 54; and Lorie Epilan Dela Cruz, 54.

Chang said Ramayrat was arrested in an operation around 2:50 p.m. Monday in Barangay Makuguihon, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.

Ramayrat has standing arrest warrants for murder with no recommended bail, and two counts of attempted murder with PHP36,000 recommended bail for each count as issued by the court of Molave.

Ramayrat is the fourth most wanted person in the town of Molave.

Around 6:30 a.m. Monday, Graciano was arrested by policemen in Purok Tilibong, Barangay Upper Campo Islam, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.

Graciano is listed as the ninth most wanted in Labangan and has a standing warrant of arrest for rape with no recommended bail issued by the court of Pagadian City.

Also on the same day, Lorie was arrested around 6 a.m. also in Purok Tilibong, Barangay Upper Campo Islam, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.

Lorie also has an existing arrest warrant for rape with no recommended bail issued by the court of Pagadian City and is the tenth most wanted person in Labangan.
