Cagayan de Oro: The Commission on Elections (Comelec) reported that a truck belonging to its service provider, F2 Logistics Philippines, Inc., fell off a cliff in Cagayan de Oro, resulting in the death of one person. The incident occurred as the truck was returning from Bukidnon after delivering election materials.
According to Philippines News Agency, Comelec Chairperson George Garcia stated that the unfortunate accident took place in Upper Puerto, CDO. The truck was en route back to Cagayan de Oro when it plunged off the cliff, leading to the fatality of an F2 Logistics Philippines employee.
F2 Logistics Philippines is tasked with handling the deployment of equipment, peripherals, forms, supplies, and paraphernalia for the upcoming 2025 midterm elections. The company secured a multi-million contract for these services, underscoring the critical role it plays in the logistical operations of the electoral process.
