Manila: The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to commence a one-week maintenance project along Espa±a Boulevard in Manila, starting on Wednesday evening.
According to Philippines News Agency, the DPWH-North Manila District Engineering Office will carry out asphalt overlaying activities from Welcome Rotonda to Maceda Street (westbound), spanning a distance of 508 meters. The maintenance work will take place nightly from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m., concluding on March 5.
The DPWH noted that the routine preventive maintenance will necessitate a partial road closure, affecting one lane at a time. Motorists are advised to anticipate traffic slowdowns in the affected sections and are encouraged to consider alternate routes.
Upon project completion, the closed lanes will be reopened to the public promptly.
