Manila: The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center announced that 176 projects worth PHP2.47 trillion are currently in the pipeline for collaboration between the government and private sector entities. These projects are set to be undertaken at both national and local levels, with 112 projects at the national level and 64 to be implemented by local government units (LGUs). According to Philippines News Agency, the updated list of projects marks an increase from the previously released 172 projects on December 4, 2024. However, the total estimated cost has slightly decreased from the prior figure of PHP2.55 trillion. The PPP Center attributed the changes in the project count to the addition and delisting of various PPP projects. Recent additions to the project pipeline include significant undertakings such as the Manila Central Post Office, Manolo Fortich Septage and Sewage Treatment Facility, and the Proposed Preservation of the Historical Old Del Monte Airstrip. Other noteworthy projects include the Econo mic Housing Subdivision - RQ Village, Baguio Water Supply Project, Philippines Digital National Identity, Pangasinan - Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program, and the Baguio - 4PH Program. Additional projects incorporated into the pipeline feature the Traveler Information and Data Security System, Francisco Bangoy International Airport Project, and multiple infrastructure developments in General Trias, Cavite, such as the Construction of a New City Public Market with Multi-level Parking and the Establishment of a Trading Post/Bagsakan Center. The list also includes the Baguio Central Terminal and Cultural Center, Improvement and Management of Water Supply and Sanitation Services in the Freeport Area of Bataan, and the Pasig Common Underground Network Project. These delisted projects include the Comprehensive Digital Housing Platform Project, High-capacity Bus System in Iloilo City , and the Metro Rail Transit System Line 3 (MRT3) Rehabilitation, Operations, and Maintenance, among others. Additionally, some projects have transitioned from the pipeline to the implementation stage.
