Two persons died while four were injured due to landslides in the island town of Biri, Northern Samar as Tropical Storm Enteng battered the province, authorities reported on Monday. Reports reaching the Philippine National Police (PNP) regional office disclosed that the bodies of two persons who went missing in Sto. Niño village after the mudslides Sunday afternoon were retrieved by rescuers the following morning. 'The two alleged missing persons were recovered and positively identified by their immediate relatives covered by mud from the landslide and were immediately brought to Biri District Hospital for postmortem examination,' PNP Region 8 (Eastern Samar) spokesperson Maj. Analiza Armeza said in a message sent to reporters. The official Facebook page of Biri local government identified the two casualties as Federico Galvan Sabangan Sr., 76, and Federico Acuña Sabangan Jr., 39.
