2 High-Value Targets Yield P74.8-M Shabu in Caloocan

Caloocan City: Operatives of the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) have arrested two high-value individuals (HVI) and seized around PHP74.8 million worth of shabu in Caloocan City on Sunday evening.

According to Philippines News Agency, PDEG acting chief Col. Rolando Cuya stated that the suspects, with aliases Johary, 26, and Ambulo, 25, were apprehended during a buy-bust operation at Barangay Amparo, North Caloocan at 8:15 p.m. The operation resulted in the confiscation of 11 kg. of suspected shabu and other non-drug items.

Col. Cuya mentioned that the arrested individuals were taken to Amparo Sub-Station 15. They face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. The seized drug evidence is set to be handed over to the Northern Police District Crime Laboratory for further examination.
