2-Month Anti-Crime Drive Leads to Arrest of 1,696 Wanted Persons in Central Luzon.

Central Luzon: The Police Regional Office (PRO) 3 of Central Luzon has successfully apprehended 1,696 persons wanted for various charges during the months of October and November. According to Philippines News Agency, PRO-3 Director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan announced that the operation led to the arrest of 258 most wanted individuals. Among these arrests, 14 were at the regional level, 81 at the provincial level, and 163 at the municipal level. These apprehensions were related to heinous crimes such as murder, rape, robbery, and drug-related offenses, spanning from October 1 to November 30. Brig. Gen. Maranan praised the efforts of the operating units and acknowledged the role of community cooperation in suppressing illegal activities in the region. He emphasized the importance of continuing the campaign against criminality to ensure the safety and peace of the communities. Maranan further urged police officers to persist in their meaningful work to uphold a high level of security and order in the areas they serve.
