20K Housing Units Showcased in Central Luzon Fair

Pampanga: More than 20,000 housing units were showcased in a two-day housing fair in Central Luzon, highlighting the scale of the government's intensified shelter efforts under the expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) program.

According to Philippines News Agency, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) reported that about 40 private developers participated in the Housing Fair 2026 Central Luzon. The event was organized by the Pag-IBIG Fund in Pampanga.

The housing units offered a mix of socialized subdivision-type or house-and-lot packages and vertical housing developments across Luzon. This initiative is aligned with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to expand the 4PH program, aiming to provide more housing options, particularly for the working class, as stated by DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling.

Aliling also mentioned that similar housing fairs will be rolled out in major cities nationwide, providing more options that match the needs and financial capacity of Filipinos. The opening day of the fair attracted around 2,000 home seekers, indicating strong public interest in government-backed housing opportunities.
