Pangasinan: A total of 312 firearms confiscated, surrendered, deposited, and recovered from May 16 to June 15 this year are in custody of the Pangasinan police.

According to Philippines News Agency, in an interview on Tuesday, Pangasinan Police Provincial Office officer-in-charge Col. Dennis De Leon said 95 have been surrendered or voluntarily turned over by owners. He said 195 have been under their custody for safekeeping, pending proper documentation, processing, or final disposition per regulations.

Thirteen have been confiscated or taken from individuals in illegal possession, directly removing instruments of violence and crime from communities, and seven have been recovered from crime scenes, hideouts, or during police operations. Most of the firearms are shotguns, pistols, and revolvers.

"We are appealing to those whose firearms are subject for renewal that they renew immediately or bring it to the stations for safekeeping," De Leon said.
