37 Negrense Food Companies to Showcase Products at IFEX Philippines 2026

Pasay city: Thirty-seven food companies from Negros Occidental will display homegrown delicacies and innovative food products at the prestigious IFEX Philippines 2026 in the World Trade Center, Pasay City, on May 21 to 24.

According to Philippines News Agency, this year, Negros Occidental has more participants in IFEX Philippines compared to last year's 27. In coordination with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Negros Occidental, the province's food sector micro, small, and medium enterprises are highlighting the creativity, quality, and excellence of Negrense entrepreneurs on the national stage.

DTI-Negros Occidental provincial director Lynna Joy Cardinal stated in an interview that the provincial government provided support to companies needing assistance by shouldering their participation fee and extending logistics support. 'The assistance has paved the way for the food entrepreneurs to showcase the very best of Abanse Negrense ingenuity and sustainable food innovations. This not only elevates the local premium products, but also drives sustainable businesses and economic resilience in Negros Occidental,' she mentioned.

Organized by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions, a DTI-attached agency, IFEX Philippines is the country's biggest business-to-business and export-oriented international trade show for food, beverage, and ingredients. Cardinal emphasized that the participants are those with existing and in-process Food and Drug Administration license to operate (FDA-LTO). 'The collaborative support from the provincial government's Technology and Livelihood Development Center and DTI-Negros Occidental continues to boost the number of FDA-LTO certified food processors in the province,' she added.

Participants will display their products at the FoodPhilippines booths J16 to J18 and K11 to K13, and Marketplace Booths B49 to B60. The 37 food producers include Altertrade Philippines Inc., Rensel's Food Products, C.M. Ere±ata-Manaloto Food Products, Plantsville Health Products, Moks Recipes Frozen Foods, Federico's Island Wine, GH Foods Inc., Nannette's Processed and Agri Products, MFK Agri Products and Technology, and Hapijess Food Products Manufacturing, Clara's Food Products, and SATOCA-Agrarian Reform Cooperative.

Other participants are Bobette's Delicacies, Kalibutan Society Inc., Shiena Mae Ana's Homemade Food Products, Virgie's Homemade Products Corp., Veloria Squid Rings Co., Margie's Cakes and Pastries, Gracebox Food Products, El Ideal Bakery, Bigay Health Ventures Inc., Executive Ventures Inc./Fudmaster, Saravia Blue Crab Inc., Fresh Start Organics Inc., and CM and Sons Food Products.

Also showcasing their products are Sir Jess Food Products Manufacturing, Victorias Food Corp., Quan Delicacies, Bongbong Villan Corp., Foodman Industries Corp., YMMS Food Treats, Shara Company Corp., Codcod Agrarian Reform Cooperative, Muy Bien Ventures Company Corp., Bajay Patol Agrarian Reform Cooperative, Puro Organics Inc., and HG Pasalubong.
