Datu odin sinsuat: To support the operations and readiness of Army units in Central Mindanao, the 6th Infantry Division (6ID) held a ceremonial handover of six new military trucks and about 30 refurbished high-powered machine guns at Camp Siongco, the division headquarters in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte, on Thursday afternoon.

According to Philippines News Agency, Brig. Gen. Ricky P. Bunayog, acting 6ID commander and head of the Army-led Joint Task Force Central (JTFC), oversaw the presentation and transfer of serviceable assets to the division's sub-units. 'These mobility assets and service firearms underwent the necessary maintenance and refurbishment to ensure their serviceability, reliability, and operational availability for the troops who will use them in the performance of their duties,' Bunayog said in a statement Friday.

The assets were also blessed during the ceremony, invoking divine protection and guidance for the soldiers who will operate and employ the equipment in the line of duty. Bunayog cited the need to keep equipment serviceable to support operations and readiness. He said maintaining mobility and firepower assets is crucial to troop mobility, efficiency, and mission effectiveness in the 6ID area.

He added that the availability of mobility and firepower assets enhances the 6ID troopers' tactical proficiency and readiness. 'These capabilities enable the Army division units to effectively perform security and peace-support missions, reinforcing their commitment to peace and security across the 6ID's areas of responsibility.
