8 Caraga MSMEs Receive PHP3 Million Aid to Sustain Operations and Jobs

Butuan city: Eight micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have entered into a memorandum of agreement with the Department of Labor and Employment in the Caraga Region (DOLE-13) to secure financial assistance totaling over PHP3 million. This initiative is part of DOLE's Adjustment Measures Program aimed at maintaining business operations and preserving jobs for employees.

According to Philippines News Agency, DOLE-13 Regional Director Jason Balais led the signing ceremony on Wednesday at the agency's office in Butuan City. The MSME beneficiaries include Cha'ah by Juyen Restobar and Bravo-Lagnada Dental Clinic in Agusan del Norte; VL LPG Center in Agusan del Sur; SJ Lechon Manok House and Kaman-ting Grill and Resto Bar in Dinagat Islands; and Rozano Tailoring Services, Iriberri Bakeshop, and Hiddout Carasscal Bar and Restaurant in Surigao del Sur.

The statement from DOLE-13 highlighted that the financial assistance would be distributed during the Handog ng Pangulo Service Caravan on September 14, 2026, coinciding with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s birthday celebration. The service caravans, scheduled to take place across the region, will also offer employment opportunities through job fairs.

Residents of the Caraga Region will have the chance to access various government programs, services, and assistance through these service caravans, as stated by DOLE-13.
