Camarines sur: The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Tuesday announced that a better-maintained Andaya Highway segment of the Maharlika Highway in Camarines Sur is set to be opened Monday next week. DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon stated that the initial road repairs along the Andaya Highway in Sipocot have been completed, ensuring a faster and smoother travel experience for travelers, especially during the Holy Week.

According to Philippines News Agency, Dizon emphasized the significance of the highway not only for Bicol residents but also for those traveling to the Visayas and Mindanao. He expressed satisfaction with meeting the Holy Week deadline for completing the repairs, highlighting the importance of the highway as a major route for many travelers.
