Aspiring Migrant Workers in Ilocos Norte Urged to Explore G2G Jobs

Ilocos norte: The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) on Thursday encouraged aspiring overseas Filipino workers in the province to take advantage of its government-to-government (G2G) program that provides access to legitimate overseas employment opportunities facilitated through government arrangements.

According to Philippines News Agency, Marites Maynes, a senior labor and employment officer of the DMW, mentioned that through the DMW's Pre-Employment and Government Placement Bureau, qualified Filipino workers can access vacancies without relying solely on private recruitment agencies. The DMW currently maintains a dedicated platform for G2G vacancies and Recruitment Specification Forms (RSFs) from partner countries.

An ongoing application is currently available for Croatia, and interested individuals are advised to visit the DMW website to check the requirements and schedule an online appointment. The program is structured to promote safe, orderly, and regulated migration while assisting Filipino workers in finding employment opportunities that match their skills.

The program offers aspiring migrant workers a government-facilitated pathway to overseas employment while promoting safe, orderly, and regulated migration. Applicants are advised to verify job opportunities through official DMW channels and avoid unauthorized recruiters or unverified job offers. Interested applicants may register through the official DMW e-Registration portal, which supports Filipino workers seeking overseas employment through DMW's government placement services.

Available jobs include positions such as bartenders, waiters, cooks, room attendants, cleaners, agricultural workers, welders, steel workers, teachers, and caregivers among others, with destinations including Croatia, Kuwait, Japan, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
